Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to this website. Our individual brands and platforms publish their own privacy policies covering their own services.
1. Information we collect
You give us your name, email address, phone number and city, along with any details you provide in an enquiry, application or career form, such as your qualification, area of interest, work experience and any documents you upload. We also collect information automatically when you use the Website, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, searches made and cookie identifiers, and we keep records of communications with you such as emails, messages and call recordings where a call is recorded. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information such as health, caste or religious data, so please do not include it in a form.
2. How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry and route it to the right business or institution, to provide and improve the Website, to consider a job application, to send updates and marketing where you have agreed to receive them, to prevent fraud and misuse, and to comply with the law.
3. Who we share it with
We share your details with the business unit, institution or partner relevant to your enquiry so they can contact you, after which they hold your information under their own privacy policies. We also share information with other companies within our group for shared infrastructure, support functions, reporting and compliance, with service providers who act on our instructions covering hosting, analytics, CRM, email, SMS and messaging, telephony and support, and with authorities where required by law or by a valid legal order. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, for remembering your preferences, for analytics and for advertising measurement. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and change your choice at any time, or manage cookies in your browser settings.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, and longer where the law requires it, for example financial and employment records. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your own credentials safe.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a summary of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw a consent you have given, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. You can opt out of marketing using the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying STOP to a message, or by writing to us, though opting out of marketing does not stop service messages. To make a request, write to hello@heroeducationservices.com. We will verify who you are and respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The Website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from a child without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and we do not direct advertising at children. If you believe we hold a child’s information without that consent, write to us and we will remove it.
9. Transfers
Some of our service providers process information on infrastructure outside India, and where that happens we require them to protect it to the standard set out in this Policy.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Any change will be reflected on this page with a revised date, and we will give notice where a change is material.
11. Contact
For any question or complaint about this Policy, please contact us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
